The results are in, and we are thrilled to announce that the Catoosa Public Schools 2024 Teacher of the Year is Marcie Wenzel from Helen Paul Learning Center!
Marcie has been an educator for 18 years and has taught at Catoosa for more than a decade. She says that being a teacher is her lifelong dream and that there is no greater reward than witnessing the many "lightbulb moments" students have experienced in her care. Marcie's colleagues say that she is an invaluable teammate who loves to share new and innovative teaching strategies with other teachers.
Marcie is also "Catoosa-made" and a proud graduate of Catoosa High School! As our Teacher of the Year, she represents the very best of teaching and learning in our district.
