WEATHER ALERT: November 4, 2024 at 12:06 PM
Dear parents and families,
We wanted to make the community aware there is a significant chance of severe weather in the area beginning later this afternoon and extending through the evening. Threats include thunderstorms, high winds, heavy rain and tornadoes.
In the event of severe weather, our schools will follow their established safety procedures to ensure the well-being of all students and staff. Please be advised that we plan on having regular dismissal times today. However, due to the potential for heavy rain and storms, our school buses may experience delays.
If severe weather occurs during dismissal, students may be held safely on campus until the threat has passed. This is to ensure student and staff safety while we wait for the weather to clear.
If students are dismissed at regularly scheduled times, the Community Storm Shelter (Dome Cafeteria) will be available starting at 4:30 and ending when the watch is lifted for our area. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our school community. Stay safe and stay weather alert.

The Transition Academy has been working on life skills with their students. This includes learning how to make pizza with Chef Blair. They have learned how to sew which they sewed their own pillow cases. They are continuing to learn new things every single week!
